Lovely late 1960s / early 1970s burgundy printed Geoffrey Beene Dress. Dress features a striking cube geometric print, mock neck, fitted bodice and sleeves, full swingy skirt, back center zipper closure with hidden hook & eyes at back neck and a darling self fabric scarf that is attached at back neck by a thread which is designed to be worn as shown. I left as is but you can easily snip the thread and take the shawl off if you want to wear the dress without it. Fabric feels like a lovely really soft cotton/rayon jersey (has a little stretch) and the bodice is lined in acetate.
